school full-time, I visited the moot court room at the old law school building on New York Street from time to time for inspiration
and to remind myself of the goal. Walking into that room brought about a feeling of exhilaration; a sense of awe for the power
of the intellectual battles that (hopefully) result in achievement of justice in such arenas.
Although I have now
entered such rooms hundreds of times, it is never an ordinary experience. As I tell my clients: It is the one place in America
where the playing field is actually supposed to be level for everyone.
