Zionsville-based Bluefish Wireless Management on Thursday will announce plans to expand and add as many as 150 jobs.

Lt. Gov. Becky Skillman is scheduled to be on hand for the announcement at the company’s 6100 W. 96th St. headquarters.

Earlier this month, the Zionsville Times Sentinel reported that the company was seeking tax abatement for
an expansion that could add 150 jobs by 2013.

Zionsville was competing with Las Vegas, where Bluefish already has
an operations center. Bluefish has about 90 employees in Zionsville.

Bluefish operates a Web-based service that
manages an employer’s cell phones, smart phones, wireless Internet and other mobile devices. Bluefish serves a number
of Fortune 500 companies, including Intel, Oracle and Ford Motor Co.

The company was founded in 2001 by Christian
and Michael Browning II, the sons of local real estate developer Michael Browning.

Bluefish had revenue of $12.6
million in 2008, up 727 percent from 2005, according to Inc. magazine’s list of 500 fastest-growing private
companies.

Last year, Bluefish launched a new venture, Mobi Wireless Management, which was spawned to serve smaller
firms via the Web.  In September, Bluefish officials projected that Mobi could grow to $13 million in sales and a work
force of 75 by the end of 2011.
