Columbus, Ind.-based Elwood Staffing Services Inc. announced Monday that it has acquired Multi Staffing Services Inc. in
Mobile, Ala.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Multi Staffing Services has four additional offices in Montgomery, Ala.; Chattanooga, Tenn.; and in Gulfport and Hattiesburg,
Miss. The company has 28 employees and about $15 million in annual revenue.
With the purchase, Elwood Staffing expands to 45 offices in 10 states, 230 employees and more than $200 million in annual
revenue.
Elwood has 22 locations in Indiana, including four offices in Indianapolis, and one each in Anderson, Franklin, Greenfield,
Lebanon, Plainfield and Shelbyville.
The companies together place more than 30,000 temporary employees annually in the light manufacturing, third-party logistics,
call center, office/clerical professional and engineering sectors.
Elwood Staffing was founded in 1980.
