Ward and her F.C. Tucker real estate team fought through another difficult year in residential real estate and reported a sales total of $81.7 million in 2009 and 2010.
Ward’s two-year sales total fell more than $4 million, but her 2010 sales jumped almost $10 million over the previous year.
Second to Ward was the Richwine Team, led by Dick Richwine. Richwine has finished second in two of the last three years after a four-year run at the top of the list.
At No. 3 was the Blackwood/Warner Group team, led by Hugh Blackwood and Jason Warner, which finished in second place a year ago.
Ward, Richwine and the Blackwood/Warner Group took part in the “team” category, which includes agents who have assistants who perform non-clerical real estate functions. Ward has a three-member team, Richwine a six-member team and the Blackwood/Warner Group has 10 team members.
In the solo category, which includes agents who receive only clerical help, Jeff Kucic of Kucic Associates Realty took the top spot with sales of $43.4 million in 2009-10. Kucic had long been a perennial top-five finisher in the Team category before going solo with his own agency.
Mary Jane O’Brien of F.C. Tucker finished second on the solo list for the second year in a row and Allen Williams of ERA Real Estate Links claimed third.
IBJ has compiled its All-Star Agents lists annually since 1997. Agents are ranked by their sales volume over a two-year period.
The rankings are based on information gathered from questionnaires sent to the largest residential real estate agencies and other agents in the Indianapolis area. Results are based solely on agents’ responses.
Only full-service agents are eligible for the All-Star Agents list.•
