TechPoint and Ice Miller LLP plan a twist on the annual Indiana Entrepreneur Bootcamp.

In addition to the usual networking, the Sept. 30 session will be heavier on business fundamentals.

The idea was to provide “the foundation attendees need to bring their ideas to life,” said Kristine Danz, a partner at Ice Miller’s Business Group.

That will include workshops on topics such as business planning, building the management team, and fundraising. Many a seasoned tech entrepreneur will tell you that investors want to see not only a viable product but also a capable management team before they’ll take an interest.

Several veteran entrepreneurs will be on hand as part of a luncheon panel, along with numerous networking opportunities, said TechPoint CEO Jim Jay.

The day-long seminar will be held at startup incubator DeveloperTown’s offices near Broad Ripple. The program is open to the first 100 people who register at www.techpoint.org/bootreg.
