Bolser told Noble supporters in an e-mail Wednesday about his upcoming move to Logan Center, which also serves adults with developmental disabilities.
Noble, which was founded in 1953, employs about 600 people and has a budget of $10 million, according to its income tax statement filed with the Internal Revenue Service for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2010.
Bolser joined the organization as CEO three years ago and has overseen an expansion into the Richmond area and the addition of new residential and behavioral services. He earned $150,649 in salary and benefits in the 2010 fiscal year, according the tax statement.
"There is tremendous opportunity for me to help them build on their past successes and take their future opportunities to the next level," Bolser wrote of the Logan Center. "It is also a move that is particularly beneficial to my entire family."
Noble's board of directors is already planning the search for Bolser's successor, he said.
