TechPoint and law firm Ice Miller on Sept. 20 will conduct the “Indiana Entrepreneurial Bootcamp,” intended to help upstart technology entrepreneurs take the next step. An as-yet-announced list of 25 well-known entrepreneurs from the state will conduct sessions at the one-day program at Mavris Arts & Event Center in Indianapolis.
The catch is, one has to be among the first 100 people who register at www.techpoint.org/bootcamp.
Meanwhile, TechPoint has signed up Joe Morgan, chief investment officer of Silicon Valley Bank, as a speaker for its Oct. 30 tech summit at Indiana Convention Center.
The luncheon address will come from Seth Godin, a best-selling author whose best-seller, “Permission Marketing,” helped inspire some of the state’s now-numerous marketing software-as-a-service companies.•
