As a subscriber you can listen to articles at work, in the car, or while you work out. Subscribe NowRecoverator, a software company that helps users catalog belongings and generate loss reports for insurance agents and law enforcement, won the latest Indianapolis Startup Weekend competition.
Fifty-three participants competed and five teams presented ideas during the event that ran Friday through Sunday at The Speak Easy.
The Recoverator team created a video summarizing its idea, which had to be submitted within 24 hours of the end of the Indianapolis competition. The video, along with those from winners in other cities, will be posted at www.startupweekend.org.
From there, winning startups are vying for the top prize in an online contest. Voting runs Nov. 21-28 at www.facebook.com/startupweekend and globalstartupbattle.org.
