It said Thursday the positions include city carrier assistants at pay of $15 per hour in locations such as Indianapolis, Evansville, New Albany, Princeton and Lawrenceburg. Available job openings can be seen online by going to www.usps.com , clicking on "Careers" and searching the job openings.
It said employees are required to work Saturdays and weekdays as needed and possibly Sundays and holidays. Applicants must have a valid state driver's license, a safe driving record, and at least two years of documented driving experience. They must live within 50 miles commuting distance.
