St. Elmo Steak House donated proceeds from a viewing party of the Parks and Recreation episode filmed in Indianapolis to Indy Parks and Recreation.

Fifth Gear employees will support Wheeler Mission Ministries throughout 2013 by volunteering time, contributing funds and creating awareness. In December, they raised $3,500 for the organization.

Saks Fifth Avenue will give 5 percent of all purchases made with its credit card in February to the American Red Cross of Greater Indianapolis, the Indianapolis Zoo or The Christamore House.

Indianapolis Public Schools received a $25,000 grant from Newman’s Own Foundation to support the Even Start Family Literacy Program.

In Recognition
Eli Lilly and Co. received Indiana Minority Business Magazine’s Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Freedom Award; Patricia Miller and Barbara Bradley, Vera Bradley Co., received the Rosa Parks Trailblazer Award and twelve individuals, organizations and institutions were honored with Champions of Diversity awards for their efforts in diversity and outreach.

Jan Santerre, Hillenbrand, and Rona C. Pepmeier, Rolls-Royce, received Women in Manufacturing Science, Technology, Engineering and Production Awards for their excellence and leadership in manufacturing.

Wendy Bryant Becker, D. Rusty Denton, Philip C. Eschels and Jeffrey Mallamad, Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP, were named Top Ranked Lawyers in Labor & Employment by American Lawyer Media and Martindale Hubble.
