After a lifetime in Indiana, I am saying goodbye to the Hoosier state in 16 months [Feb. 17 Maurer column]. I run a production company that does a lot of business with clients in Los Angeles and New York. It has become beyond embarrassing to answer questions about the “backward” nature of Indiana when it comes to such an important issue. Bottom line: This is not just personal for me; it’s professional, as well.
I’m proud to point to people like Maurer who are willing to fight the fight.
