The Women’s Fund of Central Indiana on March 31 unveiled the Next initiative. The program will provide funding, arrange office space, and connect entrepreneurs with established not-for-profit leaders as part of its program, among other accommodations.
The fund intentionally has not earmarked a specific dollar amount to support the program because it wants to be flexible with the proposals it will consider, said Jennifer Pope Baker, the fund’s executive director. Funding will likely total in the “millions” over several years.
The fund will consider an array of program ideas as long as they specifically serve women 18 to 24 years old.
