Grants
Eleven organizations serving women and girls received a total of $110,000 in grants from the Women’s Fund of Central Indiana.

JCC of Indianapolis received a grant of $20,000 from Champions for Healthy Kids for its R.E.C.E.S.S. (Recreation Education Culture Exercise Skills Success) program.

Eighteen Indiana not-for-profit organizations received more than $1.4 million in grants from the Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust, the majority of which went to organizations helping people in need.

Arts for Learning received grants of $50,000 from the Allen Whitehill Clowes Charitable Foundation, $4,000 from the Arthur Jordan Foundation and $1,000 from the Indiana First Lady’s Charitable Foundation.

In Recognition
Key Auctioneers received eight awards, including Best in Show, from USA Today and the National Auctioneers Association.

Derrin Slack, Anthony Price Williamson, Mark Nicholson, Craig Peterson, Wayne DeVeydt and Mike Lydick were given Managed Health Services Heart of a Father awards by the Fathers and Families Center.

Managed Health Services was named 2014 Corporate Partner of the Year by the Indiana Primary Health Care Association.

Jonathan G. Polak, Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP, was selected as a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America.

Michael W. Padgett, Jackson Lewis PC, was recognized in the 2014 edition of Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business.•
