The Journal & Courier said the trustees will meet Thursday and Friday in West Lafayette with the tuition freeze extension on its agenda.
Daniels said he would request the tuition freeze extension through 2016 in an open letter posted on Purdue's website in January. He implemented the freeze shortly after arriving at Purdue in 2013. Under the freeze, in-state students pay $10,002 per year and out-of-state students pay $28,804.
The tuition freeze has been part of Daniels' push to make the university more attractive and affordable for families.
