Mass transit is also a vital priority for rebuilding urban neighborhoods, giving residents the mobility to connect with jobs

VOICES FROM THE INDUSTRY China, higher education and our economic future In mid-September, I'll be traveling to China's Liaoning
province as part of a delegation led by Indiana State University, hosted by Liaoning University. We'll arrive in the country
too late for the Olympics, but we'll be there to talk about another form of global competition-economic development. It's
appropriate that the two universities are co-hosting a conference on economic development issues, given the importance of
human capital in our economy....

Indiana needs a trip to the doctor-and a stern lecture when we get there. We're among the nation's unhealthiest states. More
than one of every four Hoosiers is obese, and we rank among the 10 worst states for smoking and high cholesterol. The outcomes
should come put more stress on the system and drive up prices and premiums for everyone. Gov. Daniels has signed a progressive
bill that provides affordable health insurance with a medical savings account plan to Hoosiers...

As you remember from the legend, Rip Van Winkle wandered off one day into the Catskill Mountains and ended up sleeping under
a tree for 20 years. When he wandered back into his village, unaware that he'd slept so long, Van Winkle found things back
home had changed in dramatic ways. You might have forgotten this detail from the story: Rip reappeared in his New England
town on Election Day, shortly after the end of the Revolutionary War. When he...

Having recently returned to Indiana after a 15-year absence, I see a region filled with both challenges and opportunities.
The Central Indiana Corporate Partnership, the organization I've returned to serve as president and CEO, is focused on long-term
economic prosperity for our region. To this end, our people are our most valuable resource. Unfortunately, central Indiana
faces a significant challenge in making our human capital match our goal of a knowledgebased, 21st-century economy. Indiana
ranks 46th in the educational attainment...

So, am I now eating at Patachou or a Shake Shack?
Does the IBJ have any fact to backup their assertion that Steak n Shake is changing their branding? Or are trying to compete with the Star on how many stories they can get incorrect??
The NCAA has the authority to sanction an entire school if a single player is caught receiving unauthorized gifts. In the case of Penn State an assistant coach was sentenced to life in prison after being convicted of numerous felonies on campus, and members of the administration have been charged with covering it up. To suggest that the NCAA had no reason to get involved is laughable.
This image is of a trade show booth, not a retail store. I'm sure no one in their branding brain trust would really make their retail stores look like a second-label jeans brand from JCPenney. I would bet it's done at way so attendees know the ownership of the updated concept. (I have to say, tho, glad they appear to be losing affinity to the 50's drive-in idiom they were toying with post-Young & Laramore...)
I absolutely love the new sign. I've hated Steak N Shake for years now, but this new sign will make me eat there frequently!
