  1. Two potential governors pick two women as lit. governor...basically to grab the women voters. However, why doesn't a woman try to run for governor? Indiana needs to expand their outlook, not the career politicians and business men/women. I guarantee if I ran for an office I flip things upside down. All politicians have all the same points..jobs jobs jobs. I have job creation right here...how about 1) demo all those abandoned houses everywhere, 2) new construction for all those parking lots, 3) instead of doing "studies" and assessments all the time actually follow through with those results. Regardless of the new Governor, both seem to me as another 4 years wasted, and it'll continue to be a waste until people come to their senses.

  2. The value of having transit is the option to utilize. Owning a car, particularly when you have a family is typically required in most places. The ability to take transit to/from work is a tremendous option to have in terms of saving money in transportation costs and also providing a better use of time instead of being "behind the wheel".

  3. the City benefits from all that money those out of town people spend at Conseco Fieldhouse. Wait a second...the Pacers get 100% of that revenue. If we wouldn't have given away so much in these deals, the author might have a point.

  4. I agree with CK...Do you really need to try that hard to retain the guy when his name is on the building? His staying on benefits not only the shareholders, but also his family and personal holdings so it would behoove him to stay on regardless of any outrageous compensation. I dare say the COO Sokolov is actually the brains behind the operation anyway. This company goes cheap on its regular employees and nickle and dimes them, but opens the vault for Mr. Simon. I understand you need to pay the guy, but give him a decent amount relatively speaking and the guy is going to stay...period. I'm glad to hear this got voted down.

  5. Riding on the coat tails of the family name and expects to get by with this move. Should ask a lot of people within the company and the lives that were wrecked during the economic turn down in 2008. I agree with the Board
