Additionally you should always remove jewelry before any type of food prep. You don't someone to bite down on a ring that slipped off your finger.
People have been cooking for thousands of years without gloves. I have worked in the food business in various capacities. Some places require gloves, others don't.
A report by the New Zealand Food Safety Authority suggests that proper hand washing is much more hygienic than wearing gloves. A New Zealand report states that wearing plastic gloves tempts food handlers to wash their hands less frequently because they canâ??t feel when something gets on their hands.
I have seen coworkers reach into the trash can, pick up a sponge off the floor, and clear tables, then go handle food. You think those people behind the counter are changing gloves all the time between tasks?

Governor (D) and Daniels should be wise to stay away past failed administrators.
