The Horizon League and Nelligan Sports Marketing Inc. announced that they have agreed to a long-term extension to their partnership agreement that continues the New Jersey-based company’s exclusive rights to manage the Horizon League’s corporate sponsorship and marketing rights.

“We are excited to be able to extend our relationship with Nelligan Sports Marketing,” said Horizon League Commissioner Jonathan LeCrone.  “The Nelligan team has worked diligently on behalf of our member institutions over the past two years to connect our league with top companies in the Midwest and throughout the country.”

Nelligan’s primary goals include finding title and presenting sponsorships for the Horizon League’s men’s and women’s basketball and other postseason championships, radio and television spots, venue signage and title opportunities for other Horizon League programming.

Comprised of ten public and private colleges—including Butler, the Horizon League is an NCAA Division I athletics conference that sponsors 19 intercollegiate championships and is headquartered in Indianapolis.
