Angel Rivera [April 16 Forefront] states, “Why not open a school of Criminal Justice & Public Safety in the inner city?” Perhaps a visit to the oldest public high school in the state at 34th and Meridian would reveal IPS’ Shortridge Magnet High School for Law and Public Policy. Eskenazi Charter School of Health Services provides an interesting idea—perhaps reform educators should take a tour of Crispus Attucks Medical Magnet High School. No need to dream up possibilities when they already exist.
