If all you want is cocktails, the AMC Showplace 17 is putting in a bar. I'm talking a full featured, get served food at your table and watch a movie experience. We don't have that now, and CinemaGrill paled in comparison to what was offered at Hollywood Bar & Filmworks before the owner went insane and left town.
I hope that things go well for Scott Wise and Scotty's. We became Scotty's customers in 2006 (probably earlier than that, actually) and have seen a lot of changes since then, and not all of them have been good. While we prefer to support local business and generally avoid chain restaurants, right now Scotty's has fallen off our list of favorite places to go. Hopefully, there will be yet another menu change soon and we will check it out online in the hopes of going back.
sh8man are you talking the original selection, or the convenient default choice for the transit hub? Was it smelly too?
I will pay an extra $7 every 6 years to have the fantastic service our BMV puts out now days. Obviously there are many who worget the days when hours went by, today it's minutes.
I'm happy the Mishawaka location is going "gangbusters". I've been there several times since its opening and was a little worried about lunch traffic. So I'm glad to hear it is doing so well. While I'm not in love with Scotty's food, I much prefer supporting a small, Indiana-grown chain than an Applebee's or Cheddars.
