People living downtown won’t have to wait for a proposed Target to go home shopping closer to home. Carson Pirie Scott is renovating 25,000 square feet of its space on the third floor of Circle Centre mall for a new home store. And Minneapolis-based bedding retailer Select Comfort plans to open a store in the old Express Men location in the mall. Select Comfort, a company known for its Sleep Number beds, already has locations at Castleton Square Mall, Greenwood Park Mall and Clay Terrace.

  • But without the Express Men store, we'll have a bevy of boys running around wearing brown socks and gray pants. Sure, they'll have great beds to sleep on, but no one will want to sleep in those beds with them.

For shame, Express Men. You gave up too easily, and we wimminfolk must suffer the consequences.
  • LOL!

Don't lose hope, I think they're just moving to the other end of Circle Center. :-)
  • Those will be nice additions to downtown. I just wish we could get a Crate & Barrel or BedBath&Beyond downtown!
