Firefighters rescued a fisherman who fell through the ice Monday morning at Geist Reservoir. A nearby resident heard the
man yelling for help and called 911. Firefighters were able to reach the man, who was about 100 feet from the shore, with
a rope and pull him to safety. The victim, who spent about 30 minutes in the water, spoke with rescuers throughout the ordeal.
He was taken to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Fox59 will have more at 4 p.m.
