    Then why are you here? If you do not like what we have today go watch old races or something else. Continuously pining for something you wish you had at one time is not going to make it happen or affect future evolution in any way.

    As previously stated, whining about some self-perceived utopia in the past is not going to reconstitute your version of paradise in the future. There is a right way and a wrong way to affect evolution, and the tactics of the handful of you squatting along the Internet is not the right way.

    I believe most obsessed critics should put their money where their typing fingers are and just stay away. Perhaps toughen their hypersensitive hides while they are at it. Expressing the kind of sentiments you have once and a while is fine. Obsessively expressed parroting every time any column is written about IndyCar is hypocritical. Clearly none of you have the slightest clue about what the Indianapolis 500 is or means, and all of you are devoid of the kind of respect it takes to be actual racing fans.
