Indiana University says it has set a system-wide enrollment record with this fall, with its main campus in Bloomington and three of its regional campuses topping their previous enrollment marks.

IU officials say some 102,600 college students are enrolled at the seven campuses it runs, along with some 8,000 IU students at the Indiana-Purdue Fort Wayne campus that Purdue University oversees. Nearly 4,500 high school students are also taking Advanced College Project courses through IU Bloomington.

IU reports record number of students at its regional campuses in Richmond, Kokomo and Gary. The largest campuses are Bloomington with 42,327 students and IUPUI in Indianapolis with 30,488 students.

The school says that freshmen at Bloomington have an average composite SAT/ACT score of 1,217, up from last year's average of 1,202.
