Peter Rusthoven’s [Feb. 18 ] column “‘Relevance’ is irrelevant” could not have been more on
point. The world view, as seen through liberal media, is that not just the Roman Catholic Church but Christianity in general
needs to “become more relevant to an increasingly secular world.

While I don’t always agree with [Greg Morris], he was spot on with this [Feb. 25] column. Excellent job on this huge issue

There are good reasons to feel optimistic about the changes taking place as a result of health care reform. More people will
have access to insurance through health insurance marketplaces, and many will be able to take advantage of tax credits to
afford this new coverage.

Are there not any really decent people to run for Congress [Maurer column, Feb. 18]? Too many of these candidates have the
ability to speak smoothly, show an engaging personality and make a good impression. The real essence of their character is
not revealed until they are caught taking advantage of their slick-lip shenanigans.

I enjoyed Greg Morris’ [Feb. 25] column. However, I wish he had taken it one step further to explain the absurdity of
these so called “sequestration” cuts as they relate to baseline budgeting.

I say no to expansion of Indiana’s school voucher program, already the most liberal in the nation when it comes to taking
public money and moving it to private—mostly religious—schools. I ask the Legislature, particularly the GOP super-majority,
to do more for the “system of common schools” they promised to support when they swore to uphold Indiana’s
Constitution.
