That's all well and good. I've lived in Indy my entire life. My family has been in Indy since 1907. I'm a Black guy from the fairgrounds area, Northside, so I can call out Haughville! They just opened a second location on the canal level of the Cosmopolitan apartments (310 W. Michigan, just north of the W Michigan and Indiana Ave. intersection).
There are plenty of folks that grew up in Haughville that have done quite well with their lives, Tom Zupanzic, used to work for the Colts and Louis Dezelan used to be the Fire Chief, two fine upstanding individuals that grew up in Haughville. Check you facts before making blanket statements.
