For me, the weekend included brushing up on the movies of Harry Langdon for a pre-show discussion of the silent movie clown I'll be offering prior to the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra's live accompaniment to his film "The Strong Man" this Friday at the Indianapolis Museum of Art.

Besides that, it was a pretty quiet weekend for A&E for me.

What about you?

Did you harmonically converge with ATI's "Forever Plaid"? Were you among the first to see gallery shows at First Friday? Did you sashay over to Clowes Hall to see the Martha Graham Dance Company? Or did you block out the time to get to "The Lego Movie"?

Whatever you did, the space below is yours to chime in with your thoughts.

  • Nuclear Cowboyz
We had a lot of fun taking our boys to see Nuclear Cowboyz at Lucas Oil Stadium. It was sort of cross between X Games motorcycles and Cirque Du Soleil. The storyline was pretty cheesy (the kids loved it) but the motorcycle stunts were amazing.

enjoyed "Forever Plaid" a lot. great show! also First Friday at the Harrison Center wth great art, Pete Seeger tribute and Indy 11
  • Martha Graham
Saw the Martha Graham performance at Clowes. Three shows in one and all well done. Flawless and executed with high energy. Not really a dance fan, but thoroughly enjoyed the performance. Top notch performers who appeared to really enjoy their work.
