For me, it was a trip to New York to see a quartet of Broadway's latest (watch for reviews shortly).

How about you?

Did you see "Spun" at the Phoenix or the final weekend of "Middletown" courtesy of NoExit Performance (see review here)? Did you space out at the Indiana State Museum's NASA exhibition or catch NPR's David Brancaccio at the Night of Vonnegut?

What did you see, hear or read on the A&E front over the weekend?

  • middletown
great event! wouldn't have missed it. hope they do it again.
  • Shame on Hoosier Park!
So I paid a very pretty price to attend Kathy Griffin at Hoosier Park in Anderson. The sound system was weird the entire show, with lots of feedback. Kathy was having trouble finding the right space between her and the mike to stave off the feedback. Then, the sound went completely out! For minutes and minutes and minutes... Kathy handled it with grace and stayed onstage and answered questions from the crowd. at one point, a staffer even brought out a bullhorn. What? After the sound finally came back, the mojo was gone and she wrapped up quickly. Boo- unprofessional with no back up plan.
