1 8 oz package cream cheese softened
3 Cups - crushed Oreos
Mix together, dip in melted dipping chocolate. Refrigerate to harden
Enjoy - it doesn't have "butteh" but they're very enjoyable!
1 packet taco seasoning
1 c. chicken broth or water
Place all ingredients in a crock pot and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high for 4 to 5 hours.
Hardly cooking! Nice for tacos, sandwiches, in soup or salad.
Obviously, you checked the site, so you know that this is a charity event for Sycamore Springs. No, not everyone can afford such high-ticket charitable events, but that's no reason to put down the guest involved.
Happy holidays,
Lou
Take two slices of bread, put butter on one side of each, add in a slice or two of cheese, and grill! Easy! I'm in grad school, so it's my daily meal...
Easy and yummy--made a great dinner last night! (Also a great way to use up leftover ham.)

Grape Salad

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese (can use low fat)
1 (8 ounce) container sour cream (can use low fat)
1/2 cup white sugar (I use granulated Splenda)
 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 ounces chopped pecans (1 cup)

DIRECTIONS
1. Wash and dry grapes.
2. In a large bowl, mix together the cream cheese (bring to room temperature for easy mixing), sour cream, sugar and vanilla.
3. Add grapes and mix until evenly incorporated. Sprinkle with brown sugar and pecans and refrigerate until serving.
This is a recipe that is easily adapted based on grapes and diet needs. I have also cut the ingredients in half and used a combination of berries, if you prefer berries over grapes.adjust sugars to sweetness of the berries.

These are my famous brownies that my co-workers, friends, and family love!!
Make brownies using your favorite easy box mix. (I prefer Betty Crocker frosted.)
Let them cool for 30 minutes. Spread peanut butter on top letting it melt into the brownies. Refrigerate for about an hour. Top peanut with chocolate frosting and serve. For a special treat sprinkle crushed candies such as reese cups or m&ms on top. A crowd pleaser!
My very simple recipe for a nearly perfect grilled cheese is as follows:
Two chilled pieces of whole wheat or gluten free bread
Butter also chilled because melted ccoks too fast
Two pieces of Muenster cheese with two 1/8" slabs of butter on each outer side.
Use no oil or the sandwich gets too soggy.
Medium heat and turn frequently until it looks just past golden brown.
Cheese should be just melted enough to bond the bread together.
REUBEN DIP
1 can sauerkraut
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 (6 oz.) shredded Swiss cheese
2 pkgs. (3 oz. each) Buddig corned beef
2 tbsp. Thousand Island Dressing
Drain sauerkraut, mix with cream cheese and Swiss cheese. Add diced corned beef and Thousand Island dressing. Either microwave or heat on stove until cheeses are melted. Serve warm in a small crock pot. Serve with crackers or cocktail rye bread.
Recipe? I have no idea since I don't cook. Maybe chips, refried beans and cheese, combine, and heat in microwave until cheese is melted. Eat while hot.
3 cups sugar
1 can evap milk
Bring to a rolling boil and cook 5 mins exactly
After 5 mins is up turn off heat and add
1 1/4-1 1/2 cup of peanut butter
& 1 t vanilla
Pour in greased pan.
Let cool and refrigerate.
INGREDIENTS
â?¢ 2-3 medium sized fresh tomatoes (from 1 lb to 1 1/2 lb), stems removed, finely diced
â?¢ 1/2 red onion, finely diced
1 jalapeño chili pepper (stems, ribs, seeds removed), finely diced
â?¢ 1 serano chili pepper (stems, ribs, seeds removed), finely diced
â?¢ Juice of one lime
â?¢ 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
â?¢ Salt and pepper to taste
â?¢ Optional: oregano and or cumin to taste
METHOD
1 Start with chopping up 2 medium sized fresh tomatoes. Prepare the chilies. Be very careful while handling these hot peppers. If you can, avoid touching them with your hands. Use a fork to cut up the chilies over a small plate, or use a paper towel to protect your hands. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and hot water after handling and avoid touching your eyes for several hours. Set aside some of the seeds from the peppers. If the salsa isn't hot enough, you can add a few for heat.
2 Combine all of the ingredients in a medium sized bowl. Taste. If the chilies make the salsa too hot, add some more chopped tomato. If not hot enough, carefully add a few of the seeds from the chilies, or add some ground cumin.

Did you know that Hershey's now sells unwrapped kisses packaged for baking, so you don't have to unwrap all the little chocolates?
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 8 minutes
Chilling time: 6 hours
Total Time: 6 hours, 28 minutes
Yield: 48 cookies
Ingredients:
8 oz. pkg. milk chocolate kisses
1/2 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup peanut butter
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1 egg
2 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1-1/4 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
more granulated sugar
Preparation:
Remove wrappers from chocolate. Beat butter and peanut butter in large bowl until well blended. Add 1/3 cup sugar and brown sugar; beat until light and fluffy. Add egg, milk and vanilla; beat well. Stir together flour, baking soda and salt; gradually beat into peanut butter mixture. Cover tightly and chill for 4-8 hours in fridge.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Roll in granulated sugar; place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Immediately press a chocolate piece into center of each cookie; cookie will crack slightly around edges. Let stand on cookie sheets for 3-4 minutes, then remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely. Makes about 48 cookies
To freeze, shape dough into balls but do not roll in sugar. Place on waxed paper lined cookie sheets and freeze until firm. Pack into hard sided freezer containers; label, and freeze up to 3 months. To bake, roll frozen dough into sugar, then bake as directed, adding 3-6 minutes to the baking time.
Note: the proportions and amounts of ingredients in this recipe are correct. Remember, tsp. stands for teaspoon, NOT tablespoon. That means a measuring teaspoon, not a coffee spoon, or a soup spoon.
