Okay, so I honestly don't expect many people to have gotten out to much A&E this weekend, but maybe you'll surprise me.

Did you catch "Wicked" at the Murat (See my review here)? Pay a visit to "Yuletide Celebration" (Ditto here)? Catch a new release at the multiplex?

Your thoughts?

  • SCVNGR
I did the Visit Indy Holiday scavenger hunt using the smart phone SCVNGR app. It was easy and a lot of fun! Even though I did it with a group of adults, I can imagine a great activity for families. Children will love taking pictures of the landmarks.
  • Black Swan
Black Swan is certainly something to see. If am not convinced it is a particularly "good" movie, but it sure plays with your head.
  • Lights
I may not really qualify as A&E, but my family had a great time driving around last night admiring the Christmas lights near our home. The creativity of homeowners is a joy to see...and we got to listen to some great holiday music as well.
  • True Grit
I was treated on Thursday night to a sneak preview of the Coen Brothers remake of "True Grit," thanks to the Indianapolis International Film Festival. I thought it was a fantastic film! Unfortunately, I have not seen the John Wayne original, so those that have may have a different take on the movie.
