Day 9: You can count on the folks at Turner Classic Movies to uncovering interesting goodies from the Hollywood vaults. In this case, it's a 1940 treat called "Remember the Night."
The dull title hides a very fun romantic comedy about a gruff big city D.A. (Fred MacMurray) who takes custody of a shoplifter (Barbara Stanwyck) and takes her on a road trip to Indiana for the holidays. It's the perfect gift for the film fan who has overdosed on "Miracle on 34th Street" and "It's a Wonderful Life" (Okay, so you can't really overdose on "It's a Wonderful Life."
I know it's too late for holiday delivery, but you can find ordering info here.
