Recently nominated for a Jeff Award in Chicago for her performance in "The Gospel According to James" (first seen at the Indiana Repertory Theatre), Diane Kondrat will be seen this season in "August: Osage County" at the Phoenix Theatre and in the solo show "Red Hot Patriot" at Cardinal Stage in Bloomington.

She's been a clutch-hitter--and actress you can count on to upgrade whatever she's in--for years, playing roles at the Phoenix, the IRT, Brown County Playhouse and beyond. Here, in the last of IBJ seven-part "Clutch Hitter" series of videos, she talks about the challenges of being a working actress in Central Indiana.
