A Columbus man’s latest run-in with the law ended with his 20th arrest of the year. Joseph L. Nichols faces misdemeanor
charges of public intoxication and resisting arrest after he was hauled in Tuesday night. According to the department, the
arrest marked Nichols’ 16th alcohol-related arrest of the year. He had four other arrests on outstanding warrants.
