Mann pitching new projects

Locally based Mann Properties is pitching retailers in Las Vegas this week on a couple of mixed-use developments slated for the north side:
  • A project with 132 townhomes and a retail strip called Creekside Shoppes would be built along 86th Street just west of Michigan Road. Noblesville CrossingThe plan calls for retail fronting 86th Street and townhomes to the south. Mann put the 20-acre site under contract last week and still must seek zoning approval.
  • Another project, Noblesville Crossing (pictured), would be built at the southwest corner of State Road 37 and 146th Street. Mann already has won approval for that plan, which calls for a 32,000-square-foot, two-story building with office and retail space, along with retail outlots.
  • An office building at Masters Crossing at the corner of 96th Street and Masters Road will serve as Mann's new headquarters, but the project could also include retail. Mann is considering another two-story retail/office building for a two-acre parcel at the corner.

    • It looks like a typical suburban office building. At least it's mixed-use, whatever.. The end reminds me of the ugly hotel proposed for the canal site. Is every development in Indy designed by the same firm? ;-)
    • Good eye Ablerock! That end definitely looks like the canal development. Of course, the canal development is 9 stories and isn't set back back from the street.

      I'm not familiar with the location of Noblesville Crossing, but sets this apart from 99% of suburban development?
    • Noblesville Crossing kind of reminds me of the strip mall at 116th and Keystone with offices on the second floor. I guess for Suburbia, this is good development.

    3. is a disaster. SR37 already needs to be built to interstate standards between 465 and SR144. Southport Road is a mess each morning and evening.

Bass Pro Shops would be good for the mall as well as a Giant Eagle Market District or a Jungle Jim's International Market Place grocery store like the one near Cincinnati Ohio.A Disney quest indoor theme park would be good.An Academy outdoor store would be good too.Indoor Circus shows and magic shows would be good as well. A casino with sports bar would be good.A Disney theater inside that shows movies and Broadway shows would work.Nashville Tennessee concert shops with indoor neon lights would be good.How about a theater that shows travel shows and theme parks. A train store would be good.How about a giant toy store with high tech video games.

    5. This development is in addition to Allpoints Midwest 5, Aitrtek, a recent FedEx and more in Plainfield. Greenwood and Brownsburg also have similar projects.
