Mayor Greg Ballard has emphasized over and over that his administration will be known for mastering basics like public
safety, fixing potholes and clearing snow.
With a respectable blizzard on the way, it’s a good time to stop
and assess Ballard’s blocking and tackling.
What do you think? How well is the city managing snow and ice?
Potholes? Do you feel safe?

Until Indianapolis figures out how to properly clear secondary and residential streets they'll get a failing grade from me. It's dangerous and absolutely stupid. I used to live on a residential street but got tired of the hassle. I know live on a main road and though I put up with traffic, it's worth it to know that my street will be plowed and sanded and salted and have the potholes repaired (usually) in a reasonable manner.
