I think it's a totally nutso idea and a ridiculous waste of money.
While I agree that potentially lucrative land is best utilized by tax-paying businesses, I would like to point out an error in Mr. Tom Dickey' statement. Non-profits are one of the nation's largest employers, and those employees do pay taxes. According to the Urban Institute, nonprofits account for 9 percent of the economy’s wages, and over 10 percent of jobs in 2009. In 2010, nonprofits contributed products and services that added $779 billion to the nation’s gross domestic product; 5.4 percent of GDP.
Spam a lot is a Must See!! Even if you don't know Monty Python, this play is so well done it is funny through and through. Terrific casting and unbelievable talent. Go and laugh your face off!
