What kind of board do you back for IPS?

The Mind Trust has proposed shifting control of Indianapolis Public Schools from a citizens-elected board to five appointees from the mayor and City-County Council. What do you think?

Stick with the current board structure. That way, board members are directly accountable to voters and not beholden to political agendas. [42 votes] (37%)
