  1. I'm 48 years old. Visiting Steak n Shake as a young boy is a fond childhood memory...just like visiting WoolWorths, Lazarus, Blocks, and a number of other well known brands of days gone by. As an Advertising and Marketing expert with over 30 years in the business, stagnate businesses die on the vine. It's about time the SNS brand got a makeover. In an era when the government thinks it's not only its right but its duty to tell Americans how and what to eat, SNS "may" be attempting to take a leap forward by moving the brand away from being a "fast food" target for the nanny-state. Additionally, the "50's" look has been played out. I can guarantee you that the baby-boom generation that the stores have been decorated to appeal to - ARE NOT SNS's core customers. Don't fear change. Embrace it. Or, prepare for the day when SNS is a distant memory just like that of Roselynn Bakeries, Zayres, Cub Foods and LS Ayres.

  2. I just wanted to point out that the old Circuit City space at Clay Terrace has not been vacant since they went out of business. Snapperz has been in that location the past two years and another kid entertainment place was there before that for around 6 months to a year. Also Clay Terrace did not open in 2007 but in 2005. I think the St. Vincent sports practice will be a good fit.

  3. It is an elective. Let it go!!

  4. Dear Scott: A REIT called American Realty Capital Trust IV Inc, which is managed by American Realty Capital, bought the Eli Lilly property in Indianapolis for $79.1 million. If you go to the SEC Web site and search for filings by American Realty Capital Trust IV Inc., you will find an 8-K filing that reports the price paid and other details about the deal. Best regards, John Covaleski 267-247-0112

  5. ConcernCitizen777, The only way we will ever get rid of corruption or at least reduce it is to force everyone who sells property on the open market to keep the bids for a minimum time. Banks/ Real Estate Brokers should have to prove that their offer is the highest and keep on file all other offers for two years. This would give the honest person a chance to see what other people bid and if the winner is truly the high bid. Timothy Farnsworth: I pretty sure Reggie Walton was is a "Democratic"!!! No matter what your political views, we shouldn't have to worry about this kind of corruption in the city government. Enjoy Prison Reggie.......:)
