  1. And as Matt said, much better than fake. It's one of the very few antebellum structures remaining in Fishers.

  2. Just what we need in Carmel, 149 houses that will be all cottages and look exactly alike all the other houses Old Town have built and the 265 apartments will be in a 2 story red Georgian brick building that has ZERO archectectural style. When will someone realize that ALL of Carmel does not need to look like the Village of West Clay. I am not bashing the VWC, it a great neighborhood, but am I the only person tired of all the same archectectural design??? We have a great little pocket neighborhood designed back in the 50's-60's by Avriel Schull who was ahead of her time. Why not a little more of that? Look at Columbus and all of their world class designed buildings. Why can't Carmel do some of that?? I am a proud resident of this town, I would be even prouder saying we have some world class architecture rather than more of the same, yawn, that we already have. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only Carmel resident who reads Dwell and appreciates good design. Come on Mayor Brainard, take the challenge, allow someone to design a contemporary building downtown. You want to be a destination city, Pedcor and Old Town group are not going to get you there.

  3. Hahaha, NO WAY Mitch could have become president with the personal skeletons in his and his wife's closet.

  4. wouldn't this be the perfect place to build cute little patio homes in a price range of 150-160K for empty nesters, retirees, those who want to downsize because they no longer want a $300K house or those w/limited incomes who want to own rather than rent an apartment?? Time for Carmel to consider this.

  5. why oh why does this state continue to elect these you wonder how much was graft out of the 3.8 billion?
