Indiana's business recruitment agency announced nearly $8 million of incentives last month for Subaru's planned major expansion of its Lafayette factory even though it will be months before the agency's board considers approving the deal.
New York City-based Vroom plans to lease the vacant 500,000-square-foot former Subaru of America building off Indianapolis Road to the west of Interstate 65. The company hopes to hire 220 employees by 2024.
If plans come to fruition, PolicyStat LLC of Carmel and Ace Technologies LLC and Central Marketing Transport Services of Indianapolis will add 111 employees over the next decade, the Indiana Economic Development Corp. said.
