Brokerage firm Colliers Turley Martin
Tucker has delayed an auction of three parcels near Meridian and 16th streets that previously housed the Payton Wells car
dealership. Auctioneer Bob Getts said the delay is to take care of a couple of liens and ensure buyers get a clean title.
No new date has been set for the auction, which originally was scheduled for April 3. The dealership closed in early 2007.
Getts said several potential buyers have expressed interest in the properties. The original post is

I wonder what happens if you try to hold an auction and no one shows up to bid?
Delay it?
I'm not quite sure where the auction was going to be held. Was it on the actual properties?
Is there a new date for the auction? Or will that be decided once the liens are taken care of.
