Jim Schellinger, the longtime president of CSO Architects, casts himself as a consensus builder who would emphasize workforce training if he wins the primary and unseats Republican Mitch Daniels Nov. 4.
“He lets you be part of the team,” CSO executive Tracy Carfanga said of Schellinger. “He lets you have responsibilities, and counts on you to take care of them.”
Former U.S. Rep. Jill Long Thompson has spent a career in politics and teaching. Thompson, who has three business degrees, has proposed a three-tiered incentive program to help economically distressed counties.
“I learned [growing up] that you can go from being on top financially for a number of years, and circumstances beyond your control can change things very, very quickly and very dramatically,” she said
