Investigators hope an autopsy will help determine what caused a man on Thursday to drive his Ford Explorer into an icy
pond, where he died. The vehicle went several hundred feet off Worthsville Road near U.S. 31 in Greenwood before plunging
into a frozen retention pond, according to witnesses. The SUV broke through the ice and sank in about 15 feet of water. Firefighters
pulled him out but were unable to save him. Fox59 will have more at 4 p.m.
