to challenge big-box competitors including Best Buy and HHGregg. MacExperience also has stores in downtown Indianapolis, Greenwood
and Bloomington.

Pure Eatery, serving a basic menu of soups, salads and sandwiches, has opened in Fountain Square’s
Murphy Arts Center. Owner Amy Andrus is a South Carolina native and restaurant industry veteran who moved here in 1999.

Square Rootz Deli has opened on Prospect Street across from Fountain Square Theater. Owner Jeff Reuter’s
menu includes gourmet sandwiches, old-school sodas and homemade desserts.

Double Apple Lounge is planning to open at the corner of West 96th Street and Michigan Road. A state filing
lists the owner as Gladys Botina.

Vanilla Bean Bakery plans to take 1,150 square feet at the northeast corner of West 86th Street and Township
Line Road, across the street from a Kroger store.

Vineyard Liquors is opening a shop at 7750 S. Meridian St., near Stop 11 Road, in a retail center with a
