The Indianapolis Public Schools board will meet in executive session next week to discuss Superintendent Eugene White’s plan to reassign more than two dozen administrators—and his future with the urban school district. Board members voted 4-3 on Tuesday to reject the proposal, prompting White to threaten to quit his job. Under the plan, which White said will save the district $560,000, eight schools would get new principals. White said if the board insists on revising his plan, he'll enter into negotiations to end his contract. Board members told Fox59 they would meet to re-examine the proposal and consider White’s future.
