Water service was returned to Indianapolis International Airport on Thursday morning after being off for about 12 hours due to a water-main break. The airport had to shut off all running water inside the airport, including restrooms and restaurants. The main broke in the baggage claim area about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday. Crews and outside contractors worked through the night and into the morning to repair the damage. Most concessionaires, including McDonald's and Cafe Patachou, stayed open by using water remaining in the water lines or bottled water.
