East-side fire displaces 15

A late-night fire at the Lakeview Terrace Apartment complex on the east side of Indianapolis left 15 people looking for a place to stay. The fire started shortly after 11 p.m. Wednesday. Investigators believe a 1-year old may have knocked over a candle, starting the fire. Four apartment units suffered fire, smoke and water damage. Nobody was injured, but a resident with a pre-existing medical condition was checked out by medics and released.
