The Indianapolis International Airport has installed three new contemporary works in the main ticketing hall and concourse B.
Disc-jockey-turned-artist Walter Lobyn Hamilton created Sound Travels exclusively for the airport. Visitors to the Turf exhibit during the 2012 Super Bowl might remember Hamilton’s work with vinyl records.
Lafayette-based artist Brigid Manning-Hamilton’s Elements in the Landscape combines digital photography printed on stitched silk.
Sculptor and painter David Kleeman’s exhibit, Fluxus, will feature a selection of his hybrid creatures, made from found objects and handmade clay and wood.
All of the work is on display through Aug. 4.
