Lori Wilson, an Indiana University graduate, fills a position open at WISH since long-time anchor Deanna Dewberry moved to the bigger Dallas TV market in September to work for KXAS-TV Channel 5.
Lori WilsonWilson was most recently an anchor at NBC affiliate WCAU-TV Channel 10 in Philadelphia—a city she may have a hard time forgetting, according to various media reports.
Wilson told the Philadelphia Daily News prior to her departure that he loves her church in the city and that “my guy is here [in Philadelphia].”
She also told the paper’s gossip columnist while shopping for a Mother’s Day card, “It’s not goodbye. It’s, ‘I’ll see you later.’”

Wilson worked in 10 television markets over the years, including Atlanta and Shreveport, La. She’s also been a network fill-in at MSNBC.
“After almost 16 years covering news in other cities, I feel truly blessed to have the opportunity to work in my hometown, for the station I grew up watching,” Wilson said in a prepared statement.
She will also report live during WISH’s 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. newscasts.
