Prevent Blindness Indiana thanks IBJ for publishing the annual Holiday Wish List. This year, Lauth Property Group LLC answered
our request for a laptop. In 2007, our Holiday Wish List request for a new phone system prompted Nexsysis to donate their
old equipment to us.

Our most-needed items in 2007 were a printer and a telephone system. We were so grateful when Nexsysis answered our request
for a phone system, as that allowed us to purchase a reliable printer, something we desperately needed. The cascading effect
from the phone donation was increased savings and work productivity as we can print more documents in-house—without equipment
malfunctions. An added bonus is that our phone conversations are clear and our intercoms work, too!

This year, an office break-in resulted in the theft of a laptop. We were able to replace the laptop, but the replacement expense
prevented us from purchasing an additional laptop to take with us to speaking events, vision screenings and health fairs.
This "new" laptop from Lauth will allow us to inform our target audiences about the importance of vision screenings, the need
for eye exams, and the early warning signs of glaucoma, cataract, age-related macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy.
By giving PBI the laptop, Lauth may have given the gift of sight to a Hoosier adult or child.

Fifty percent of blindness is preventable—but you must first know the signs and symptoms of eye diseases and vision conditions.
The IBJ Holiday Wish List, and donations like those from Nexsysis and Lauth, allow us to use the support we receive to provide
vision screenings, public education and links to care for Indiana residents, fulfilling our goal of Sight for Life.
